- P5 Pentalobe screwdriver
- T5 Torx screwdriver
- Plastic spudger

Remove the Lower Case
Remove ten screws securing the lower case ,lift the bottom cover carefully starting from the edges with a spudger or plastic opening tool.
Remove the Battery
The clear plastic pull tab attached to the battery connector and pull it parallel to the board toward the front edge of the Air .This is a safety precaution to avoid damaging internal components or shorting out any circuits during the repair. the battery from its edge nearest the logic board and remove it from the upper case.
Remove the Speakers
The flat end of a spudger to pry the speaker connector up and out of its socket on the logic board, the adhesive securing it to the upper case, use a spudger to carefully pry them out without damaging the surrounding components.
