Most MacBook or MacBook Pro laptops have Battery Replace that are good for between 600 and 1,000 recharge cycles, depending on the mode. These kits are cheaper, and the tools you get are not to the same standard as from Reformtech, but if you’re trying to fix your laptop on a budget, this is an option.
The kit I bought consisted of a Battery Replace, and all the tools needed to carry out the replacement. In this case, the tools that came with the kit were as follows:

Removing the Lower Case
When Battery Replace the small screws that secure the lower case, it is crucial to align them correctly. Ensure that each screw is positioned perpendicular to the slight curvature of the MacBook’s case to prevent misalignment or damage to the threads. Misaligned screws can cause undue stress on the casing, leading to difficulties in reassembly or potential stripping of the screws.
To begin the disassembly process, use your fingers to gently pry the lower case away from the body of the MacBook near the vent. Apply steady but cautious pressure to separate the lower case without exerting excessive force that could crack or warp the casing. If necessary, use a plastic pry tool to aid in the separation. Carefully work around the edges to ensure the lower case detaches evenly. Once the lower case is free, lift it away and set it aside in a safe location to prevent accidental damage.
Disconnecting the Battery Connector
With the lower case removed, locate the battery connector on the logic board. Using the edge of a spudger, gently pry the battery connector upwards from its socket. This step should be performed carefully to avoid damaging the delicate connector pins. It is often useful to pry upward on both short sides of the connector in a controlled, alternating motion to “walk” it out of its socket gradually.
Exercise caution when handling the corners of the connectors, as they can be fragile and break off if excessive force is applied. A broken connector can lead to improper power connection or necessitate expensive repairs. Once the connector is free, slightly bend the battery cable away from its socket to prevent it from accidentally reconnecting while you work on other components. Securing the cable out of the way ensures that the MacBook remains safely powered off during further maintenance.
